A visit of Malvan
After the arrival of our friend Olle from Sweden two days ago, we decided to take a day off yesterday to visit the renowned nearby coastal town of Malvan. It is mainly famous for it's off-shore fort, built in the 13th century by king Shivaji to avoid an ennemy invasion from ashore.
We didn't get to visit the huge fort but had a good time in the sea, strolling downtown and enjoying an impressive lunch of fried fish, shellfish curry, coconut curry, vegetables etc...
It was nice to share all this with our European fellow and Nikil, one of Syamantak's students.
