1. Bombay

We reached Mumbai after night train on 9th early morning. We stay in Dadar neighbourhood, in central Mumbai. After a few hours, we are to take part in an event organised in favour of orphans from all over the country, on the occasion of sibling's day in Hindu culture. We got to sing, along with Mrunal, "Le chant des partisans", which she learned successfully. We hope it was a good message to commemorate and celebrate brotherhood and union in hardship!

We then witnessed other shows, were interviewed by the press and tv, met several of the children, had lunch etc. The following 2 days were also dedicated to visiting places with this group before the children went back to their home towns.

Bhaubeej program with "Anam Prem" i.e Eternal Love. We are being welcomed as guests, and ceremonially meeting our sisters. And finally three days of pure happiness in the tribal village, where hearts are good and full of love. Electricity and mobile network are there, just 20 minutes away from a small town; but these modern features have not overcome people's traditional lifestyle and natural kindness. Adivasis are the major ethnic and tribal indigenous groups in India; they are spread accross most of the country and descend more or less directly from ancient Indian aboriginals.
